Nature, Writing, Photography - Celebrating the Positive
Stunning pictures and beautiful words. I love the idea of One Good Thing - I am trying to practice this myself - I try to find three a day (but of course one properly celebrated is enough ) -I think it has a profound effect on the way I feel and the way I am in the world. Love some of the quotes on your Live and Learn blog - Avril
Maybe I should try that. I think you are smiling in most of the photos I have seen of you. That is nice, and something I should practice more.
Lovely blog! Of course I scrolled back to read every one of your posts. Thank you for sharing and for the link on your other blog. It's a privilege to be in on the ground floor as a reader!
I love your short reflections - like haiku. One good thing for you - a TED talk by Neil Parricha -the 3 A's of Awesome http://blog.ted.com/2011/01/07/the-3-as-of-awesome-neil-pasricha-on-ted-com/
I LOVE your new blog and will definitely keep up with it.
I remember your write up about One Good Thing, about your mom, very nice title of your blog. Love your choice of words, and your random thoughts.
Wonderful your new blog and the title of One Good Thing. Mirror is always honest. I shoud try that for my family, friends and myself as well.
I love this, we all can find one good thing in the day to be thankful for, great idea.....:-)Hugs
What better way to greet the day, or could you find a nicer person to smile at - not likely!
Very lovely small stones - all of them. Thanks for the comment on my post.
How nicely you started 2011, as is said that New Year’s Day is the key of the year. I read all the past posts. It’s nice to find something happy in small things and mundane everyday life and write it down. By doing that, we’d be able to reflect and treasure the day and start the following day afresh. I myself can’t do that continually every day, you are so courageous. Keep up good work, Barb.
I love it. Thanks
This inspiring blog is a good thing to celebrate!
A great idea for a blog and a great way to be aware of all the little things that make life happy. :-)
Not so much stones as gems. You have a beautiful and commendable outlook, Barb :)
Life is Good and you express it well, Barb.
It's such a positive thing, to smile at yourself in the mirror. :)
And those are some of the best kind of smiles.
Thank you for your comment on my blog. I love your photo-smiles are so powerful. My mother has a habit of looking at herself in the mirror and telling herself "You are Glorius!" I think it has worked.
Hi Barb, I love this photograph of you, just as I love each and every one of your outdoor scenic shots. Keep smiling and thanks, always, for your nice comments on my blog. Have a great day. xoxo.
Your comments are always one good thing for me!
