Attitude

Cape Kiwanda, OR, spring 2011
I've been thinking about perspective:
how sometimes a small change in how I view something makes all the difference.
If I can just be a bit more flexible, make some minor alterations,
I might see things in a novel and fresh way.
Perhaps pausing and making a small adjustment would make a big difference.
Possibly I can view a situation in more than one fixed way.
It's worth a try.

  2. I just sent off your thoughts to a friend who is struggling today to find a way through some problems. Couldn't have come at a finer moment. Thanks so much.

  3. You are so right. However, it can be hard to remember to look at a fresh perspective in the heat of the moment. Thanks.

  6. Definitely! Patience can cause us to see all sides of the box, if we only allow ourselves to.

  7. I think it's a great thing to look to change how you view something or do something. I did just that recently. I love the contrast of these two images. Your close up perspective in the one and then the panorama view. Nicely done Barb. Carol

  15. Lovely photo of the footprints, and an equally lovely post. It's so true -- perception shapes so many things. Sort of like looking at the facets of a crystal -- each one a different angle.

  20. You place the word pausing just there near the end... just perfect. The photos are exquisite. That second one is so expansive -I find it so easy to breathe while looking at it.
