Early Morning, Tenmile Range

the mountains wake

craggy peaks catch first light
reflecting from rising sun
molten gold leaks down slopes
glows along serrated ridges
inky dark recedes
a chilly day is born

  7. Wonderful photo of Tenmile early in the morning...great memories for me. Afraid I remember it mostly without the snow. :-) But, love how you saw the advancing light. Beautiful.

  8. The sun's gold - so much more valuable than the gold that is mined. It brings us treasures every day.

  10. What nice light! Chilly is good for you. The snow will last longer. I like the way the sun is reflected on the clouds.

Our temperature reached 53ยบ today. When I was out, I saw lots of crocus and daffodils, not blooming yet, but green!
