Life's Illusions

Life is often illusional.
Don't jump to conclusions.

I took this photo through the leaves of a Japanese Maple toward a Koi swimming in a pond. I love the shape of the branch and the reflections as well as the blurred leaves in the foreground. There is so much going on in the photo - I'm not sure you would even know what it's about at first glance. I feel it's a perfect metaphor for Life.

  1. Looks like a Japanese painting I love. So fluent and beautiful scene with many stories.

  4. This is life imitating art, or art imitating life. I'm not sure, but it is truly a wonderful photograph. Absolutely inspirational.

  5. A perfect metaphor. We do see through a glass darkly, now....What a dreamy image, though.

  9. I'm glad you explained what's in this photo. Otherwise I would have seemed a bit abstract. I's actually a very attractive photo!

PS - yes... it's been very windy and wintery here - definitely not our typical summer fare, ugh!
