Smiles

Early morning
The face in the mirror smiles at me
I smile back
At myself

A River of Stones

  1. Stunning pictures and beautiful words. I love the idea of One Good Thing - I am trying to practice this myself - I try to find three a day (but of course one properly celebrated is enough ) -I think it has a profound effect on the way I feel and the way I am in the world.

Love some of the quotes on your Live and Learn blog -

  2. Maybe I should try that. I think you are smiling in most of the photos I have seen of you. That is nice, and something I should practice more.

  9. What better way to greet the day, or could you find a nicer person to smile at - not likely!

  11. How nicely you started 2011, as is said that New Year’s Day is the key of the year. I read all the past posts. It’s nice to find something happy in small things and mundane everyday life and write it down. By doing that, we’d be able to reflect and treasure the day and start the following day afresh. I myself can’t do that continually every day, you are so courageous.

    Keep up good work, Barb.

  18. Thank you for your comment on my blog. I love your photo-smiles are so powerful. My mother has a habit of looking at herself in the mirror and telling herself "You are Glorius!" I think it has worked.
