You know, a friend who lived in Colorado for a year once tried to convince me that it's really no colder there in the winter than it is here in Davis (just now, we're having *extraordinary* [hah!] lows of 30 degrees [Fahrenheit] at night, but usually it's a good ten degrees warmer at night, and more like 45-60 during the day). My friend lives in Ithaca, NY, so I think the sight of Colorado sunshine was really throwing off her ability to determine what's actually cold. :-)
Hmm. I bet it really is bone chilling, too!
ReplyDeleteKeep warm and cosy, - it will soon be February.
ReplyDeletethat bone chilling cold....i don't miss, but i know that my future still holds a couple more months of it.....
ReplyDeleteI've been to Breckenridge in the winter so I chuckled when I read this. It is gorgeous there - but, yes, bone chilling too. Excellent-
