The Cornhusk Lily is blooming.
Some years it doesn't flower and only puts out leaves.
But, this year - a bonanza!
They grow in a meadow surrounded by purple Monkshood and golden Asters.
From a distance they remind me of candelabras - they seem to glow from within.
Nature's intricacy is on display.
