A Muted Landscape

sometimes, just the slightest hint of color

is enough

We woke to a white world today in Denver, Colorado. More snow is expected overnight.
I walked through a muted landscape this morning.

The purity and silence of white was my One Good Thing.

  4. I escaped from Mesa Verde this morning, I am driving an RV and did not want to see any white stuff, I left 2 days before the end of my work contract. I am heading south.

  5. Lovely photos, and I agree, nature with its silence has a prescence all of its own, to enjoy, and sometimes just to sit and listen to leaves falling, water dropping, wind in the branches, is a therapy all on its own.Greetings from Jean

  6. I knew it was going to turn cold her last night Barb and when I walked the dogs at 6:15 this morning I wasn't prepared for the cold air that was there to greet me! No snow yet but I know it's time for me to bring the boots downstairs and the coat out of the closet!
I love your photo with the leaf, great contrast! Love Di ♥

  19. Its gradually getting a bit colder here in Mumbai too as the winter sets in. But winter here means temperatures hovering in the low 20's degrees Celcius!!
Have a happy weekend Barb :)
