soft shell
of flesh and bone
warm against my heart
rubber neck and bobble head
nuzzle on my shoulder
quiet sighs of milky breath
spin a lullaby
both of us drowsy
spin a lullaby
both of us drowsy
in middle-of-the-night's
velvety cocoon
velvety cocoon
