What Matters

I remind myself constantly:
Take notice
Look carefully
Watch
What I'm seeing won't happen again in precisely this way. Does that matter?
Well, if too many moments slip by unaware -
Yes, it does.
At least, it matters to me.

  1. I try to remember that too, Barb. It's so easy for one day to slip into the next without stopping to really notice the little things. Great message. :)

  9. You're right! Our life is made up of these moments.. if we let them slip away, then we let our lives slip away too.

  10. It matters to me, too. I think we all need to keep nudging one another and reminding ourselves...lest we forget. Before we know it the moon will disappear and then re-emerge and show itself in its thousand and one faces. Never the same.

  11. And to me. Another thought provoking post, Barb. I love the colors in this shot. Our birches are taking on a red hue, too.

  15. Seems like you could read my innermost thoughts. Exactly what I think when I go out there and see nature.
