Wow Barb, you are literally only a few miles away from my house! Beautiful photos of cacti at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Enjoy your time here with girlfriends! It shouldn't be too hot this weekend; only low to mid 90s....perfect :-)
I, too, love the cacti and succulents...how they survive and even prosper in such difficult environments is a great lesson for all of us. Love your photos. The most viewed photo I have on my Flickr site is a succulent that has been picked up for use by school groups, Google Images and viewed nearly 2,000 times...that is the power of these plucky survivors!
Cacti are beautiful in their own unique way! From a purely pragmatic standpoint, don't get too close when you focus on that top one (not that I would know about that from personal experience or anything ;>)
Everything has its own beauty. Even a plant with all the thorns, the cacti shots are pretty especially the first one is great. Hope you Have a fantastic week ahead Barb:)
I always find a dose of beautiful wisdom and perspective with each visit. thank you for that. the photos are beautiful too. happy week to you Barb. take good care now.
