I've been thinking about perspective:
how sometimes a small change in how I view something makes all the difference.
If I can just be a bit more flexible, make some minor alterations,
I might see things in a novel and fresh way.
Perhaps pausing and making a small adjustment would make a big difference.
Possibly I can view a situation in more than one fixed way.
It's worth a try.
Nicely expressed. Perception is everything.
ReplyDeleteI just sent off your thoughts to a friend who is struggling today to find a way through some problems. Couldn't have come at a finer moment. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. However, it can be hard to remember to look at a fresh perspective in the heat of the moment. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLovely Photographs ,there is always more than one way to look at things.
ReplyDeleteLove this. The shots are a perfect match for your words.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Patience can cause us to see all sides of the box, if we only allow ourselves to.
ReplyDeleteWise advice Barb and lovely photos.
I think it's a great thing to look to change how you view something or do something. I did just that recently. I love the contrast of these two images. Your close up perspective in the one and then the panorama view. Nicely done Barb. Carol
ReplyDeleteThis is wise and true Barb - thank you for reminding us - and as always your words are accompanied by your beautiful photographs
ReplyDeletehow wonderfully stated and illustrated!!!
ReplyDeleteA change in perspective usually works well, it adds diversity in life and in photography! Great stone and shots!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos - they go so well with the meaning of your words.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen such large stones in the sea.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Great colors in these shots. Perspective, too.
ReplyDeleteGood advice, Barb.
Very nice composition on both photos Barb. Such huge foot print, I'll fit my left and right, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of the footprints, and an equally lovely post. It's so true -- perception shapes so many things. Sort of like looking at the facets of a crystal -- each one a different angle.
ReplyDeleteSo important to pull back and look at the whole picture. It helps put things in perspective.
ReplyDeletePerfectly illustrated and something I need to keep in mind (oh how I need to keep it in mind). (On a practical level, I enjoyed the reminder of 'home' too!)
ReplyDeleteJust seeing this now, which is great timing for me. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeletethank you for stopping by my place and commenting - I love what you're doing here, definitely have to start visiting more often! ;)
ReplyDeletetake care!
You place the word pausing just there near the end... just perfect. The photos are exquisite. That second one is so expansive -I find it so easy to breathe while looking at it.
