I'm really happy that you shared your pleasure because it's now mine too. the color is still beautiful, and I love the perspective. happy week to you Barb.
I often think of your neighbours who experienced that dreadful tragedy earlier this year. I hope the poppy represents how they're coping, bent and crumpled, but not broken entirely. If it's appropriate, please let them know they're in my thoughts. Sue
(sigh) I see this poppy and see myself. Struggling a little but somehow coming through even when every thing around me tells me to just withdraw. Nah...can't do that can we...still want to hold it together. I better stop while I am ahead here...this little poppy has put lots of thoughts into my head.....hehehehe I think I could write a book on how a poppy feels.....hehehe
Nature teaches you so much, the lonely warrior fights on... With the odds stacked against it... Beautiful post, so much to learn. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend Barb:)
still beautiful.
ReplyDeletePrickly but pretty - a survivor. We can learn from it.
