Talking to the Flowers

yes, it's true
I talk to flowers

Mother did too
now Grandchildren wonder

what do you tell them
I say they're lovely and graceful

I ask them to stay safe and healthy
I tell them I love them

you tell us that too
yes it's true

I do

  3. Lovely post. I talk to flowers too but not out loud. Too shy I guess. But my dogs now, that's another matter.

I've enjoyed your River of Stones posts.

  11. So don't I, Barb. It is good for us.

Hey, this morning I was out shooting photos behind the garden when a calico pennant (dragonfly) landed in front of me. It was on a old stick, so I said to it, "Why don't you hop on that marjoram?" He did, and I took the photo.

That yellow flower is columbine, right? I love that shade.

  15. Hi Barb,
    Thats a heart warming poem...
One who gets close to nature and starts taking to it certainly is very lucky... The person is very satisfied and finds inner peace and joy!!!
    Have a fabulous Sunday:)

  19. I love the columbines. Flowers flaunt their beauty without fear of rejection - we need to tell them we appreiate their efforts.
