I did.....my simple pleasure was when I was plugging along at work and wha-la...I got an e-mail from a friend..........YOU! Thanks Barb. That was my simple pleasure....
This post is so lovely, Barb ~ I'm enjoying it while having my lunch here in my very warm classroom ~ It brings a smile to my face and reminds me to check on my own rose bushes this afternoon. They are a tad bit under our eves and may actually need water even though we had so much rain last night* Thank you for the quiet and beautiful moment* Have a happy weekend* Maria
Simple yet thats all we need to make our life so beautiful! Yes! I did experience a simple pleasure today, and one I did just now! Many thanks for sharing this:-)
There seems to be a theme of observing simple pleasures at the moment and is something I've been attempting to do daily. Today I watched a chook foraging and was delighted with its antics. I think tomorrow I'll try to remember perfumes and see what happens.

ReplyDeleteWe need to make time for the simple pleasures - to stop and just be. This is a beautiful, dreamy shot.

ReplyDeleteI like this, Barb.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I spent some time in the garden, and for the first time this spring, just sat and relaxed out on the garden bench.

Hmmm, I'm about to take Sioux to the vet -- not a simple pleasure. I'll have to think on this some more, Barb. It's been one of those weeks! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Love it!
In the bouquet, the cycle of life or transience of life of coming and going is contained.
ReplyDeleteYes, I did. Hope you, too!
Every day :) The simple pleasures are the longest lasting and are freely and abundantly available to all. I think 'simple' is a misnomer ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Barb!
