Life's Illusions

Life is often illusional.
Don't jump to conclusions.

I took this photo through the leaves of a Japanese Maple toward a Koi swimming in a pond. I love the shape of the branch and the reflections as well as the blurred leaves in the foreground. There is so much going on in the photo - I'm not sure you would even know what it's about at first glance. I feel it's a perfect metaphor for Life.

    When I first saw the photo, I thought it was a Japanese watercolor. Everything about this shot pleases my eye.

    This is life imitating art, or art imitating life. I'm not sure, but it is truly a wonderful photograph. Absolutely inspirational.

    the colors are so soft...I actually had to squint because I thought it was my eyes that were not focusing LOL, lately my sight has been so blurry! It is beautiful and looks like a painting!
