A beautiful, palpable silence. Looking at your photo and reading your words transports me to this place of muted sound and softness in everything. The last time I truly experienced this was long ago when I lived in Colorado for a short time.
So beautiful. How are your temps in Breckenridge right now? We're looking at another night of 35 below zero. One of so many this past month. At least if it's going to be cold, I sure do like to have the snow along with it. :)
An Aussie friend of ours who lived in the US for a while said the amazing thing about ht snow in the country was the absolute silence which came with it. We have birds and insect noises all year round here, everywhere.
What wonderful serenity in these photos. One of those snowfalls without wind, it appears. Just beautiful piling of snowflake after snowflake.
