  4. Barb, I have so appreciated your comments and words for me, after Hugh's hospital visit. I too, realise that life is not forever, and health mishaps can limit one's abilities in everyday things. Enjoy your Christmas time with family, keep inside on those freezing days, wrap up so well if outside, and I will hope you write again later on. Your words, photos and thoughts have inspired and encouraged me so much. Fond greetings from Jean ( and Hugh)

Your antique sled looks comfortable with wreath.

  9. Thanks for coming by Barb. I would LOVE it if you lived next door, we could hike together with our cameras and cook for our grandkids!!!!

Thanks for asking about my Dad. The surgery was Thursday and he's still not off the heart assist machine, but he is breathing on his own. He's 82 so it's hard, but he's tough and he has five children who love him dearly and thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren who adore him, so he has to get better! I hate being out here away from him, but I have to work and couldn't stay. Three of my sisters live nearby though, so he is being well cared for.

    xxoo,

    RMW

  11. One good thing for me has been the connections I have made through blogs. Through photographs and writing I have gotten to know people from afar and made connections that would not previously have been possible. Visiting your part of the world is an oasis in my day - a moment to just appreciate the beauty of you and your surroundings. Wishing you peace and joy over the holiday season.

  12. Read the post up there. Dealing with patients with dreadful diseases must surely take its toll on the young doctor. Glad you are well, and its such a good decision to spend time with your grandchildren. The photos are superb, the children are adorable. Enjoy your break, have a lovely December Barb :)

  13. I'm very happy that you're well. Sitting in waiting rooms, waiting for the results is very unnerving so it's good that part is over. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family. All the best in the coming new year to you Barb. Take good care now.
