ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Barb. It is years since I've seen a Mariposa, - we had them in the sagebrush above the farm, but even there they were rare and cherished.

What a beautiful flower. I haven't seen one in real life so I don't know what size it is. I love the way it has green around the central stamens.

I don't know the Mariposa but I've always thought that sunflowers are very 'Me!Me!'flowers
